2008-01-08      HAPPY NEW YEAR AGAIN!
Due to many reasons I hardly could finish AFPD projects this year. Job, family, health...
But Rodolfo Isotta sent me another nice airfield image from Italy, so at least I did another scenery in a fantastic environment.
Alpo is located near Povegliano Veronese in northern Italy. Many thanks, Rodolfo!

Hans Wonner republished a strongly modified version of my countryside 3D-scenery, now called Prairie.

The easyfly download of the BF109, RED 7, is available at rc-sim. Of course the model can be used in AFPD as well.

In summer I could organize already the third free constructor meeting in Rottenburg. 
IPACS joined us and presented a lot of new features for the next versions. 

Just a few weeks ago I had the chance to do beta testing for both the addon 3: True Scale and addon 4: International Team 1.
True Scale is an extreme addon with several aircrafts in original size, which shows the great physics engine handling models from shockflyers up to an original Antonov 2 with 5to weight. International Team 1 addon instead contains the rc models of several world professionals in rc flying. You'll get their original model with adapted physics, their painting and sound. And only a few days later a CD attached to the German Model magazine FMT contained 2 new sceneries and 3 new models.
This means an incredible amount of new stuff for all AFPD model pilots in a very short time frame.

And finally, my first airplane done with AC3D, a really great construction tool. 
This is a German glider called LS3-17, the model is in scale 1:5.

2007-01-01      HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Winter time, flight season is over for several weeks. In the past months I could do some more stuff for AFPD.
First I had to adjust the gear movements of the RED 7, a BF 109 cooperation project for easyfly. The aircraft will also be available for AFPD.

Niels (Discus555) did an Alpina glider for AFPD, a very famous rc model, and I could adjust the flight parameters.

Next I finished a panorama scenery with all collision objects, 
the Westflyer RC airfield close to Oklahoma City. Panorama foto by Kelsey D.

Together with Rodolfo Isotta from Italy I could finish one of the most complex sceneries, Castello Scaligero close to Verona, Italy.
This is the inner court yard of an historic castle. It was a great challenge to create all the collision objects even up to the single merlons of the walls. This scenery also allows passing through 2 gates and pylon racing in the court yard: It comes in a new, slim installation package and with a Google Earth file for localizing the scenery. An absolute highlight of my work.

Then I got permission to publish the hang gliding scenery Vettore. The ground and the objects were done by Rodolfo Isotta again, 
the panorama foto was created by Paolo Marani.

Patrick Schroeter published a DG300 glider about a year ago. Since I bought a DG300 glider in autumn, I was eagerly trying to match the flight parameters to my own model. The result is a really great flying glider.

The ZoomZoom3D is one of my own rc-models, AFPD built in cooperation with Extraflug and Funtana_S40.
It is also available as 4D version with variable pitch propeller.
Juergen Neuenhahn took the older B4 glider and improved the flight model for AFPD. 
It's now great for flying upside-down along the slope.

2005-12-20: Dear pilots,      
I decided, not to update this page for a while.
The traffic rate went up to 10 GB per month, but there is hardly any positive feedback.
There is an increasingly number of unfriendly complaints about not working stuff, as well as aggressive demands for specific models. I'm not very motivated to go on this way!
If you don't care - fine, that's it.

Alexander Hoermann modified sound, power, new textures, reflections, cg and so on and came up with
2 new models, the Extra LXH and the Hercules Austrian Airforce.
Great stuff, guys!!! AFPD users must have these airplanes.
